I am feeling very old after reading this book and things in it have obviously passed me by. It is written in the first half as a social media stream with short paragraphs of monologue from the lead character that appear quite random but probably are not.

It is the tale of someone who lives locked into the ‘portal’ or internet and who travels the world talking about it. The reviews I read about it say it is laugh out loud funny and that is the part that passed me by – not funny at all. Fortunately, it is a short book.
