Cold Cold Ground by Adrain McKinty ***** 03/07/22

This was an excellent book. It had a believable detective, summed up the 1970s in Northern Ireland well and had some humour in what was fairly grim times. Two homosexual men are killed and their body parts mixed up and then left dumped to be found. Finding out who dunnit involves talking to the top boys of both sides which is dangerous and needs full body armour.

I have to say, I wasn’t expecting the rough justice ending but I suppose in those times anything did go and of course it is fiction so you can have whatever ending you want as an author.
